Review of Barefoot Beach Gardens

1.0
I drove to Barefoot Beach Gardens on the advice of a 2015 Cayman Islands resort guide that was published for tourists. Upon arriving, the site was closed, overgrown with shrubbery. It obviously was closed for business. We looked around for beach access and found a trail about 100 feet east. The trail was strewn with garbage. It was absolutely disgusting. There was a refugee raft beached at the shore. I don't understand how this is a prime snorkeling spot. If anything I was scared for my life. Please take the Barefoot Beach locale off of any tourist information as it could lead to danger. Or please clean up barefoot beach if you are to tout it as a tourism destination.
